Born from a love of baking and a deep understanding of homesickness, The Smart Cookie was created to bring people closer—no matter how many miles apart.
Founder Kara Stingo started Stingo’s Sweets LLC with a vision to make unique, high-quality baked goods that spark joy. But after hearing from countless parents who wanted a better way to support their college students—and reflecting on her own experience with leaving home—Kara launched The Smart Cookie by Stingo's Sweets LLC.
This service makes it easy for parents to send love in cookie form, while students enjoy something sweet, fun, and familiar. It’s personal. It’s intentional. And it’s a tradition in the making.

Who We Are
We’re a small-batch bakery on a mission to make college feel a little sweeter. Founded by Kara Stingo, The Smart Cookie is an extension of her award-winning recipes from Stingo’s Sweets LLC.
What We Do
Each month, we launch a new cookie box, filled with 6 gourmet cookies that parents, friends, and students can pre-order. We handcraft every box and deliver them to safe, designated campus pickup spots.
